Statutory Town Planner
Are you energetic and progressive, forward thinking and comfortable challenging those you work with to think outside the box, for the benefit of your clients? At SPACELAB you will work in sync with our urban designers, landscape architects and project feasibility specialists.
SPACELAB Studio are at the leading edge of urban design. Over the past 20 years, we have worked on award-winning projects from detailed design for small spaces, through to multi-unit and urban renewal projects and the design of entire new communities. Most recently, our team received 2 commendations at the 2023 ACT PIA awards.
Our planning consultancy is growing, and we are looking for a suitably qualified and skilled person to join our team. You will be working across a dynamic range and mix of projects for government and private clients.
Essential
- Degree in town planning or related qualification with industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in application of town planning policies and strategies to a wide vaiety of projects in larger city or municipality environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes.
- Excellent AutoCAD and Adobe suite (InDesign) skills.
- Highly articulate verbal and written communication skills.
Desired
- Competency in CAD for applicants with urban design experience or aspirations.
- Additional qualifications in related disciplines.
Salary
Salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will reflect the qualifications, capacity, and experience of the candidate.
